National Wear Red Day

Fashion is all abuzz in everything red to gear up for Valentine's Day! But another VERY important issue that is recognized in February is Heart Month.  Heart disease is the leading cause of death in American women.  One in three deaths is caused by heart attack or stroke amounting to 800,000 cardiovascular related deaths per year!! Whoaa that's huge!

So in honor of Heart Month the American Heart Association has made today, Feb. 1 "National Wear Red Day."  And that's exactly what I did!! Check it!
