This Inauguration means so much to me, to be alive to see our first black President sworn into his second term, for me is epic, and to live in the Nation's Capital and experience the excitement and electricity of it all firsthand is simply amazing!! I was seven months pregnant for his first Inauguration in 2009 so I really didn't get a chance to get out there and be amongst the crowd, but I was determined this time around I would enjoy at least one event and that's what I did!
I had the awesome opportunity to share my night out with one of my closest friends Courtney and together we had a blast!! We drank, danced and did a little networking on the side-DC mixes business and pleasure so well, no city does it better!
